Why stay with us?

We have 4 fully equipped self-contained cottages located on an active 25-acre permaculture, essential oils, fruit and vegetable production small holding. Each cottage has its own private garden space and outside recreational area.

Guests are welcome to stroll around the spacious gardens to view the local seasonal floral indigenous plantings (including a range of different Proteas), fruit orchards and farm animals. Ian, your host, is more than happy to guide you around the gardens.

Visit the on-site nursery and shop to buy indigenous plants, herbs essential oils and essential oils products.

Farm produce (e.g. eggs, wild mushrooms, plums, apples, kiwi fruit, veggies, jams, preserves, honey, pickles, etc.) can also be purchased when available.

The gardens surrounding the cottages are home to the endangered Cape Parrot flocks who roost in the trees in the early morning and evening on their way to and from their feeding sites up to 200km away. The gardens have resident Knysna Turacos, a variety of sunbirds, Cape Robins, Lemon Doves – to mention but a few. The gardens have been visited by the Emerald Cuckoo and the Cape Sugar Bird. Bring your birding equipment and camera with you.

Our resident canines are very happy to host other canines.
